Getting started

Polydict is powered by Polymarket.com: prediction markets, Combos and perps, traded from a wallet that stays yours. It runs in your browser and inside Telegram, Farcaster and Base App.

What Polydict is

Polydict is a client: the markets, the order books and the settlement belong to the venues, and Polydict is the screen you trade them from. It is powered by Polymarket.com. It does not create markets and does not decide how they resolve.

  • Prediction markets on politics, sports, crypto and world events, traded on Polymarket. How trading works.
  • Up or Down windows: short crypto markets from five minutes to a day, with their own terminal. Up or Down.
  • Combos: several markets in one ticket at one quoted price. Combos.
  • Perps on two venues, Polymarket and Hyperliquid, long or short with leverage. Perps.
  • Analytics, free and without signing in: a wallet explorer, perps stats, a market screener and alerts, at /analytics.
  • Ask, an assistant that drafts trades for you to confirm, opening to accounts gradually, and Strategies, in a closed test. What is open today.

Where it runs

WebAny modern browser. A signed-out visitor sees the front page first; polydict.app/app always opens the app itself.
TelegramA Mini App, opened from @polydictappbot. You are signed in with your Telegram account, the Deposit screen opens on its TON tab, and Telegram’s own Back button works on market pages.
FarcasterA Mini App. You are signed in with your Farcaster account, and Farcaster offers to add the app once per session.
Base AppOpens as a web page inside Base App, and you sign in with the Base Account wallet it already provides.

Sharing follows the host: Farcaster’s post composer, a Telegram share link, or X’s composer on the web.

Signing in

Sign-in is handled by Privy, the wallet provider Polydict is built on. What you see depends on where you open it:

  • In Telegram, you are signed in automatically with your Telegram account. It is the only option there.
  • In Farcaster, you are signed in automatically with your Farcaster account.
  • On the web and in Base App, you choose: Farcaster, Google, X, email, or your own wallet — one your browser already has, Base Account, MetaMask, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, or any wallet through WalletConnect.

Good to know

There is no Telegram sign-in on the web. Your wallets belong to the account you sign in with, so sign in the same way each time — another method can open a different account, with different wallets.

Your first trade

  1. Sign in. Privy creates a wallet for your account — the signing wallet — even if you signed in with a wallet of your own.
  2. Let setup finish. It runs three steps: Connecting to Polymarket, Creating your trading wallet and Allowing trades. You pay no gas: Polymarket’s relayer pays it. If setup stops part-way, your wallet and anything in it are safe, and setup picks up where it stopped.
  3. Add funds. Send crypto to your personal deposit address, swap from a wallet you already hold, or pay with USDT on TON inside Telegram. It arrives as pUSD, the token Polymarket trades in. Deposits and withdrawals.
  4. Pick a market and trade. Read the price as a probability, choose an order type, and check the fees in the ticket before you sign. Trading prediction markets.

What it costs

  • Orders on Polymarket carry Polydict’s fee of 0.5% of the order’s value, on top of Polymarket’s own fee where the market has one. The ticket shows both, separately, before you sign. Fees in detail.
  • Placing an order is gasless: you sign it on your device, and nothing on-chain is yours to pay for.
  • Polydict adds no fee to deposits or withdrawals; bridges and networks charge their own, shown before you sign.
  • Perps venues charge their own trading fees. Perps fees.

Before you start

Risk

Trading prediction markets and perps can lose the money you put in, and a leveraged position can be liquidated. A price is the market’s estimate, not a promise. Nothing in these docs or in the app is financial advice.

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and allowed to use prediction markets where you are. Whether your use is lawful is yours to check. The Terms of Use set this out in full. When you are ready, Open Polydict takes you to the app.
